How To Increase Heap Size For IntelliJ

IntelliJ is a massive IDE that I love to develop in. However it requires a lot of space to roam so here’s how to up the memory so it doesn’t slow down your activity:

1. In /{path}/{IDEA_HOME}/bin/idea.vmoptions
2. Change your settings to
-Xms128m
-Xmx512m
-XX:MaxPermSize=128m
-ea
